NetworkQuest is operated by enroll ml, Inc. (“enroll ml,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use NetworkQuest, how we use it, and who can see it.
If you use NetworkQuest through your college or university, some parts work differently. Those parts are marked.
NetworkQuest holds two kinds of information about you, and they are treated differently. This distinction matters throughout this policy, especially for deletion.
Information you provide to us. The contacts you add, the activities you log, the applications you track, the resume and materials you upload, and the notes you write. This is yours. You control it, and you can delete it at any time from Settings.
Information your school provides or creates. If you use NetworkQuest through your institution, your school gives us your name, email address, expected graduation year, and which advisor you are assigned to. Your advisor can also create records about you inside NetworkQuest — notes, messages, and assessments. Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), these are education records belonging to your school. We hold them on your school’s behalf, use them only to provide the service your school contracted for, and do not share them further without your school’s authorization.
We act as a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest, as those terms are used in your school’s annual FERPA notice — but only as to this second category. The information you provide to us yourself is not an education record.

You can see all of your own data and export it from Settings.
Your advisor, if you use NetworkQuest through your school, can see your contacts, the activities you log, your progress metrics, and your coaching interactions. Your advisor can also:
Important: for a limited period after it is generated, your advisor’s assessment also informs the coaching suggestions NetworkQuest shows you. You never see the assessment itself, but the guidance you receive is shaped by it.
Your school’s administrators see aggregate usage statistics, not individual records.
enroll ml staff — authorized support and engineering personnel may access individual records for troubleshooting and platform maintenance.
We do not sell your information. We do not share your individual data with advertisers. We may use aggregated, de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you to improve NetworkQuest and to publish research insights — for example, that students who reach a certain number of contacts receive interviews sooner.
When you add a contact, you are recording information about a real person who has not signed up for NetworkQuest and has not agreed to this policy. That information — their name, employer, title, contact details, and anything you write about them — is visible to you and to your assigned advisor.
You are responsible for having a legitimate reason to record what you enter, and for keeping your notes accurate and professional. Do not record sensitive personal information about your contacts.
If you are not a NetworkQuest user and believe information about you is held in NetworkQuest, contact privacy@enrollml.com and we will respond to your request.
We use these providers to operate NetworkQuest:
Each operates under an agreement limiting their use of your information to providing their service. Your data is not used to train AI models.
NetworkQuest does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising analytics. We use server-side logging for operational monitoring.
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. Because NetworkQuest holds two kinds of information, deletion works differently for each.
Permanently deleted:
Retained:
Retained items are education records belonging to your school. They are not ours to delete at your request, and deleting your account does not remove them. Your school decides how long they are kept. We return or delete them when our agreement with your school ends.
Your account itself is deactivated rather than erased. Your email address and login credentials are removed, and you can no longer sign in. Your name and school remain associated with the retained records above so your school’s records stay intact.
To request deletion of education records, contact your school’s registrar or FERPA officer.
While your account is active, we keep the information you provide.
AI coaching history is deleted after 90 days.
AI assessments written for your advisor are retained as education records under your school’s direction, and are returned or deleted when our agreement with your school ends.
Deleted information may persist in encrypted backups for a period after removal.
Information you provided. You can view it in the app, export it from Settings, and delete it as described in Section 8.
The export includes your profile, contacts, activities, and applications. It does not include AI coaching history or the assessments written for your advisor.
Education records. Your FERPA rights — including the right to inspect your advisor’s notes and assessments — are exercised through your school, not through us. Contact your school’s registrar or FERPA officer. When your school requests those records, we provide them.
State privacy rights. If you live in California or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights. Contact privacy@enrollml.com to exercise them.
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, and we use passwordless authentication to eliminate password-related vulnerabilities.
We may update this policy. When we make a material change, we will ask you to review and accept the updated version the next time you sign in. Each version is identified by date, and we record which version you accepted.
